Tech support scenario 1 - Audio and video device block

  • An attendee has connected to conference audio, but can't be heard by other attendees.
  • An attendee has enabled his or her webcam, but can't be seen by other attendees

Use the Audio and video device block on the Attendee information panel to identify a problem with the selected camera or microphone. By clicking on the desired device you can use the device block to remotely select an alternative device and verify whether this solves the problem.

Some devices in the list may be incompatible with Adobe Connect. The Audio and video device block allows you to select an Adobe compatible device without having to walk the attendee through the process. This is an efficient way to resolve problems with attendee peripherals. It allows you to resolve these problems without having to converse with the attendee outside the meeting room.
